We at Underhill Car Title Loans help people like you every day. We understand that your credit history isn't a reflection of who you are as a person. The trouble is, your credit mistakes can haunt you for nearly a decade, no matter what you've done to correct them since then. And bad credit can stand in the way of your financial freedom. That's why we provide loans without requiring perfect credit. We hold car titles as collateral and issue loans based on the value of the cars people own.
You bring us the clean-and-clear title to a vehicle you own outright. We'll examine your vehicle and quote you a loan amount based on your vehicle's worth. We'll also ask you to fill out a brief application and submit a few pieces of documentation. Once you sign your name to the loan documents, we'll hand you your check. While you're making your payments, we'll hold your title. When your loan is paid off, we'll return your title to you. You're free to keep your car for the duration of the loan.
Are you curious about how much money you qualify for, but you're worried about committing to a loan? We totally understand. That's why we invite you to try out our online auto title loan estimator. It's a simple form on this website that asks you for your vehicle information, including:
Click "submit" and you'll be directed to the next form, which will ask for your name and phone number. Once you submit this information, you'll receive an automatic quote telling you how much money we can lend you based on your car's information. You'll also get a call from one of our friendly, helpful loan representatives. This doesn't mean you're obligated to go through with the loan. They will simply call to see if you're ready. If you're not, that's fine. We'll always be here when you need us.
If you are ready to fill out the full application, we'll need a bit more information about you.
You can give some of this to us over the phone and via email so you can sign the paperwork, let us inspect your car and pick up your check.
We can accept a copy of your lease or mortgage, or a bill addressed to you at your current place of residence. Phone bills, utility bills or a piece of mail from a government entity will work.
If you're working, we can accept your last three pay stubs. If you're self-employed, we can accept a copy of your last year's tax returns or your bank statements from the last three months showing your deposits. If you aren't working, we can accept proof of other types of income, including disability, retirement, structured settlements, child support and alimony.
Getting a replacement car title is easy. Simply visit your nearest Department of Motor Vehicle and fill out form VTR-34, which is an application for a replacement car title. Bring your driver's license and the $5.45 fee with you. You can also visit the DMV wesbite, print out the VTR-34 form, fill it out and mail it in with a copy of your driver's license. In this case, the mail-in fee is $2, but the wait time is significantly longer.
We only accept clean-and-clear titles. This means you have to own your car outright, with no payments left. It also means that no one can have a legal lien against your vehicle. Liens occur when a business legally applies for interest in your vehicle because you owe them money but haven't paid. You can run a search of your car's VIN number on the Texas DMV website to see if there are any liens against your car.
